Today we will look at Alerts in Dynamics. First you need to set up SMTP in Dynamics.
- Go to System Administration – Setup – Email – Email Parameters
- Configure settings for your email service, in our case Office 365
- Click Save
Now it is time to prepare your user account
- In Dynamics 365 for Operation click Settings (the little gear in the top right corner) – User options – Account – Email Provider Selection
- Set Email provider SMTP and set an email adress.
